Volcano map is broken as hell

Hello runners, today I was grinding for Volcano since my run is pretty choppy imo. I found something interesting in this map and I wanted to share it with you guys.

I got the idea of jumping at the ramp at spawn to gain more initial velocity from @TheProma 's run. You can boot the game up and test it yourself, it would give you somewhere around 900~1000 of velocity. However, I accidently discovered that the first platform of volcano is placed in a way that it would work in a weird way when using that ramping trick.

So, if you have played this game for a while, you might have encountered this glitch: You can see that I'm gaining a significant amount of speed even if I was jumping on flat surface. This occurs in only particular maps: cobble, river, heaven and etc. We still do not know why this glitch happens and it's completely random if this glitch will happen or not.

I don't consider these run to be in the glitched category as they cannot be controlled by the player himself/herself. The game randomly decides to give you certain amount of speed and the player cannot do anything about it. All glitches in glitch category is controllable.

So, back to the point. If you ramp from the spawn point with around a thousand velocity, and then immediately jump on the first platform(I recommend not crouching all the time), you would get somewhere around 1300 to a whopping 6000 velocity. This velocity seems random or frame-dependent. You would fail if you fail to ramp at all and jump with 650 velocity or if you bumped into the wall in any ways.

Try again and again and you will somehow get 5000~ velocity and ez wr. This map is broken as hell.

tho i think it should be Glitch category, or else whats the point of trying to beat this map normally? if this counts as glitchless now everyone must try this RNG way...

I was thinking the same way when I figure out the setup for the glitch. It's downward ramp+stepping on the edge of a platform immediately. Although it sometimes occur without any setup, maps like volcano, cobble, and ruins 2 can be done this way.

My opinion now is, that using this trick intentionally with a specific setup should count as glitch category, otherwise I'm not sure. For river, yes, I can understand if people says it's glitched run. But my heaven run, which was normal till the end, and got the random boost at the literally second-last jump. This could be frustrating to runners because you would wanted to do a normal run, but suddenly you have to compete with glitched runs. A run with a really good pace could be ranked lower regardless of the player's intention.

I'm totally ok about putting this "random boosts" to glitch category, and I agree that we should put runs using this glitch 'with a setup' in glitched category. However, I'm still not sure about these glitches happening randomly because: 1. The player does not have control over it. and 2. It is hard to tell if the boost is used or not as the speed gain is inconsistent.

for now i'm putting the volcano run to glitch category.
