@OneCoolMan Maybe lower polygon count does lighten the load for the base PS4? Makes sense for me.

I think its only placebo. Mby the smoother movement make it feels like it but when i play on PC 60fps with a controller and later on my xbox one s i have the same time thrue RPD. But yeah movement feels nicer and that can help. Just compare 120 and 60 on pc. Smooth smooth frames

Who knows, I know that FPS can matter at some points for sure especially parts where it put a lot of stressed on it..like rain, fire etc. That is from my experience with fps in other games as well tho lol In certain areas in wont matter but in others..you will noticed the difference for sure

I thought it was placebo for a while as well but in comparison it's impossible to ignore. Speaking mostly on PS4 standard and PS4 Pro. With the lower frames it just seems like things can be noticeable slower. Things like bringing the gun up and shooting, movement in some areas (especially that damn beginning convenient store), G1 fight since it uses a knife, and at times causes menu input lag. These are things I've seem to notice. Not making excuses for not being able to get a sub 57 on console. Just saying that it'd pretty much take a perfect run on a standard PS4.

Although the leap from base xbox to xbox one x(as i did.) is larger than the jump from ps4 to ps4pro. The knife damage was noticeably different. The smoothness and speed of movement wasnt as noticeable but it was there.

The more FPS the quicker the run in general. Period. From knife damage to movement.

You will notice an improvement.
