this is one of my favorite games and since i've been getting into speedruns lately (mostly watching videos/reading about it) i figured it would be a cool game to try, since i've 100% it before my question is: are there no runs in this category just because no one has submited one before? or is there something i'm missing?
As far as I can tell it’s just simply that no runs have been submitted to that category! I’m not a mod so I’m not absolutely positive about that, but a few of the games I run have categories that are untouched as well. Perhaps you can use the console WR as a guideline and build your own route from there? Good luck with your runs and I can’t wait to see your World Record lol!
I think people simply haven't done it. A, it's around a 6 hour long run to 100% it. B, it's moderately annoying, so I don't think that many people have an interest in running it. I myself and building a route now and am memorizing everything so I wonder which one of us is going to do it first lol.
probably gonna be you @Prolux, i've haven't run anything before xd tbh i was just gonna play it like i usually do but moving around faster, submit that and then work on an actual run
The few runs that there are are under "100% no DLCs" because that was the original category and a lot of people still prefer to run it that way. The main difference for playing with DLCs is that you get the Agility Skill immediately, which will let you jump roll through the entire game. Looking forward to seeing your runs.
@zed0 Do you have to use the like 'cheaty' dlc "Animal Instinct" "Headshot Reticule" "Pistol Burst" "Pistol Silencer" and as you listed "Agility Skill". I would prefer not to use them since they are, well cheaty lol. But if it's a requirement then whatever lol, just wondering as I'm about halfway through with complete memorization of the run.
