looking for a way to analyse a video with a timer that shows the exact frame ideally a free software, but I don't mind paying for quality

I recommend Aviutl, it lets you go frame by frame through a vid

I use CS6 Premiere for this, since you can set in/out frames and just get the time in ms; but it's expensive software if you don't already have access to it.
