Hello there,

I would like to request the unmodding of Méléagant from Limbo. He used to be very active and present, but he decided to remove all of his runs from the website. He clearly showed signs to not be involved anymore with SR.com, so his super mod role is not necessary anymore as well. Thank you.

@KomradeKontroll So, what was the point of this post? Jealousy? No faith in the person who was granted mod? If you didn't care about control, you could have just tried to work with them. Maybe you could have asked to become a mod so you could get the leader boards transferred over yourself and all, but instead you went out of your way to call someone a shithead because they don't see eye to eye with you. That's kind of immature, and exactly like me requesting you to not be made a mod because I think you're too childish, and I should be made one instead because I can adult harder. That would be stupid.

Ya'll care too much about control, even if you don't think it's about control.

I clicked the link, which is what I'm basing my judgement on that you don't see eye to eye with CriscoWild. You obviously want them transferred over. They obviously want the board filled. They also don't feel obligated to transfer the records themselves, and feel that's up to the owner of the runs. It's clear that you don't like this. Instead of handling things like an adult and seeing if you could share the power, you took to name calling and attempting to seize sole control for yourself.

@alkaline_ice Recent drama on the MMX series has show us CriscoWild's issues. In my opinion, Crisco is not yet ready to be a mod. And from the screenshot provides, does he even have interrest in running the game? I think not.

Do you have to run a game to be a mod? Do you have to run one to be a good mod? This apparently isn't the first game they're a mod of, either. I mean, honestly, I don't care if CriscoWIld is a mod or not, let alone for a game I don't play. My only point was people should try to make change like an adult via talking it out first, instead of throwing a tantrum because someone else is playing with your toy.

And the screenshot provided, to me, makes it look like they might not have an interest in playing the game, no. However, they did also advertise that the board was up and ready for submissions, wanting to get some runs on the board. And even they didn't do that, you can surely do a job without having a vested interest in it.

This topic is supposed to be a last resort thread, meaning that you have to go there to express your issue once you did your best to communicate with CriscoWild to solve your request.

Your words sound like you came here because you don't feel like taking the risk wasting your time arguing or negociating with CriscoWild. Why should this attitude make you trustful to moderate any game ? Nobody likes handling or facing drama shit, but it's clearly part of the job of any decent moderator when it happens.

You think it's a waste of time to be civil and nice to me? It's unfortunate that you believe that. I'm a super cool guy if you take the time to get to know me first. Maybe you shouldn't believe everything you hear.

Edit: Following KirkQ's example and lead from the X3 debate, I invite anyone who may have anything else to discuss regarding Lament of Innocence to do so on the Lament board's own forum page instead of cluttering up this page with posts unrelated to mod requests.

I'd like to say I'm surprised to see speedrunners acting like children, quotemining, and editing screenshots out of context to make someone look bad, but I'm all too familiar with that. I don't see why you guys are so scared of talking to people on the internet.

Dude deleted his posts and blocked me on Twitter. RIP.

That mod for Akiba's Trip (sam356) just tweeted less than 24 hours ago. Shoot him a tweet and either he can add you himself or he can take care of whatever issues/questions/pending runs you may have.

Edit: this comment seems weird because the person who I responded to deleted their post.

tocaloni1: Removed due to inactivity.

FluffMaestro: It looks like a moderator logged in and reviewed the run. Feel free to discuss it with them.

Racingmonster: It doesn't look like there are any pending runs for that game and the moderator is active.

Nolcolem: Since the run is pending a long time I'll add you as a regular moderator. I'd recommend not changing the board other than to approve runs without discussing with other runners.

ShadowZero81: Regarding Tekken 7, the mods have all been online in the last day as of right now at least.

ZeldaCrasher: The mod seems relatively active, but the runs haven't been pending all that long. If they stay unverified for a while longer we can look at adding another mod.

pjplustwo: It looks like you were added.

Xheno: It doesn't appear that you've run this game.

PojeBunny: If someone else wants to moderate, I'd love to hear their opinion. As it is you're just speaking on behalf of people, which seems to be a recurring thing.

DryYoshi: It looks like you were added.

HowDenKing: It looks like he was online recently.

frathebes: It's like 1 day from being deleted for not being set up, I'll just add you.

Yajijy: Okay, seems sensible.

Castelvania stuff: It looks like one of the series moderators added the game, added a mod, and then self-removed, so I don't know the details of that discussion.

The Cut the Rope moderator hasn't been active for months and can't be contacted, so i was wondering if I could be the mod instead? https://www.speedrun.com/Cut_the_Rope Thanks.

@kirkq I would like to change the users who are currently in charge of the Colin McRae Rally series on here, at the moment the heads of the whole series have become very inactive and do not do anything so I would like to see them replaced with myself in order for the leaderboards and games to stay up to date properly and for all the games to stay organised :) Thanks.

@kirkq It's been suggested that I take over the Dirt Rally and Dirt 3 moderation, which I'm happy and willing to do. PojeBunny is the most vocal, however I can vouch that there are issues and obvious disjointedness to the Codemasters/Colin McRae Rally speedrunning community due to the sporadic moderation on the leaderboards. Not to mention the lack of effort towards the games in the first place from aforementioned current mods.

@thebpg13 :
at the moment the heads of the whole series have become very inactive and do not do anything
Probably because there isn't a single series mod, which is something we decided to do some months ago after some trouble within the Colin McRae moderation team.

Poland

Benjacastellon has been a respected moderator of the series and we trusted each other with the series. When I started having issues with a newbie, potato, administration decided to tear everything that was estabilished to that date. With old, experienced members of the community we are attempting to bring back the life and order that has perished from these leaderboards.

I'd like to add to Vipers and Firefoxs posts, the request to add benjacastellon and me as Series Moderation.

Did you even give a context rather than just "yo hmu then," ? I wouldn't respond to that either

It'd make more sense to state why rather than assume someone will dm you because you said dm me
