KingJ's run might be spliced.

His video jerked ahead, by like 10 - 15 seconds 🤔 This happens in a lot of his runs. He had a Mario Kart 8 run, that was 30 minutes faster than his pb.

when in the video does it oof ahead

I’ll look into this

Gaming_64, Swiftzei, and Rmac524 like this

Looking at it, it might not be spliced, but the time will for sure have to be readjusted for that at least.

New Hampshire, USA

I'd just like to say, KingJ's previous account was banned for submitting too many runs without video at the cusp of the times that required video.

Germany

Yep, I knew about that too, He mostly submitted Super Mario Sunshine runs, seconds away from the video barrier without any video :(

not sure if it is spliced, but the mods will definately have to check or fake runs could swarm if it isnt found out

Unrelated, but is it faster to do the moons in light metro in the order he did them?

I looked through his Any% times. 2 things seemed a little weird.

  1. All times go from best at the top to worst at the bottom except the bottom 2 are switched. Is this just a speedrun.com error or what?
  2. He had really long descriptions for most of his earlier runs. However, his 2nd best run had no description, and his best run just said he skipped 1:13. Those are just some things I noticed. I wouldn't know whether they mean all that much.

Also, I might like to see whether it skipped like that in the Twitch VOD.
