I would like to offer the idea that the Gran Pris on the Level Leaderboard be played via the Story Mode challenges since it doesn't accurately represent a Gran Prix at all and more or less represents a couple levels slapped together, or rather play the gran prix with default settings (Since SuperTux cannot be played in story)
I think the best option would be to add "play grand prix with default settings" to the rules. Having regular powerups and AI enemies is more accurate, and, perhaps more importantly, more fun.
(I also always incorrectly spell "grand prix" because of the pronunciation, French loanwords are annoying. I always end up googling it. In fact I'm pretty sure there are some instances of both spellings in supertuxkart too.)
It appears that "Gran Prix" is for bicycles, and "Grand Prix" is for automobiles.
Fixed, new rules are as follows -
"Using Normal Race mode, Beat the grand prix using the default amount of A.I. An outside timer must be used to record cumulative time."

A definite no for needing an outside timer. They have all been verified using inside time, and it is completely unfair.
As for the standard settings, the other runs I can't imagine comply.
I'm rushing through a lot of changes, Ive made a few mistakes. If it happens again, just politely point it out and\or change it.
Thanks for catching my mistake, I keep forgetting that there is an ingame cumulative timer for GP's. Before I changed it, the rules stated an outside timer and an ingame timer, I knew that one of them was wrong, I removed the wrong one. Whoever wrote that rule was probably thinking about fullgame runs, where there is no cumulative timer. I'll remove that and replace it with in-game.
Poshact's old runs are weird anyway, I think all of them have been remoderated to use ingame time instead of the timers he used, but I think I remember that one of his runs is still posted with the outside timer. Maybe I remember wrong, that whole situation is confusing.
I don't think it really matters that the old runs don't comply, as soon as anyone runs that category they will beat WR, due to the advent of Kitoko's GP skip technology. It should be left as it is, and just turn a blind eye to poshact's runs, he isn't here to ask about it, so it is best to leave them as is. I'm happy for my old GP runs to be de-verified, i'm only interested in running 0.9.3 anyway. Those old times are a joke considering the new tech.
Without the GP rule change, the only two runners interested in running it are heavily discouraged. Standard settings are a necessity, especially when considering kitoko's video explanation.

Yo @Kitoko could you please rename your https://www.speedrun.com/stk/guide/r2thx GP guide to match the others? Instead of "gran prix" it should be "GP". That way it will look cleaner and not be spelled incorrectly lol. I'm surprised @Alayan hasn't mentioned it, considering its etymology.
