If I want to speed run with my switch friends, but i’m On pc, does it count as switch if I use a controller on pc?
In the rules ( Console ), it states you must play the Console version of Minecraft Bedrock and PC doesn't have Console Edition ( at least from what I know ) so you are out of the block.
And no, it doesn't count as a switch when a controller is connected to a PC. that is like saying it counts as an NES if you plug a NES controller into the PC. It wouldn't make sense.
The platform is whoever hosts the game. If you host the game on PC, the game will go under pc. If your friends on switch host the game, it will go into console. You are allowed to use a controller for pc but it doesn't affect the platform.
