Magic Hand

So I know the wiki page that is linked in Guides doesn't say any techs regarding it, but I just wanna know if anyone found any Magic Hand techs that would be useful or if I can just ignore getting that power altogether.

Ignore it. The only instance it is useful for is for 180 Emblems speedruns. You get Magic Hands after finishing both Hero Story and Dark Story (Finish CE m2 and m3 and then get Magic Hands in m4 while getting A-Rank of course), and then you do Crazy Gadget Skip in M5 while using Magic Hands to get as many points as possible.

Theoretically you could get Magic Hands in City Escape M1 and then do CGS on all CG m1, m4 and m5. An optimal 180 Emblems TAS would certainly do this, as there is a way to land directly into the Magic Hands room using a variant of City Escape Skip (that might have only been done once).

Other than that, however, Magic Hands is utter trash and should not be gotten unless you want world record in 180 Emblems, for which you need to get very good first anyway because Talon is a beast in 180 Emblems. One day his throne shall be taken.

I don't think you can perform CGS on M1 and still get A-rank. At least, such route wasn't found yet, and it can be TAS-route only, but I have no idea, where do you get 1k more points. CGS on m5 isn't optimal either. CGSS can give 1:06s in RTA and sub 1 TAS, but generally, yeah, 180 Emlbems and Ring/Score Attacks are the only cases where Magic Hands upgrade is useful. Btw, how do you progress from upgrade room on CE m1 without reset?

Here's an old video :) You literally just clip through the boxes for some reason.

So ignore Magic Hands. Got it. I plan to do glitchless all story runs so I didn't know if there was any straight up speed tech that involved them.
