OBS and LiveSplit crash my computer hard

I've been learning and practicing Mario odyssey speedrunning for around a month and one problem has been plaguing me the entire time and has been a huge demotivator. When I stream with both OBS and livesplit running simultaneously, my laptop completely freezes and I have to force it to turn off as it becomes completely unresponsive. Running OBS by itself streaming my switch works fine and has never froze my computer, yet having live split run at the same time with it causes it to freeze some time later. The amount of time it takes seems to be completely random. Sometimes it takes over an hour, and other times it takes less than 20 minutes. It seems like closing other programs through task manager, such as discord and steam, delays the time it takes to crash, but it still does happen.

If anyone knows what is going on and how to fix it, please let me know! My current theory is that I simply don't have enough memory and I need to buy higher capacity RAM and replace my current RAM, which is possible but I really don't want to do that as I've already attempted this before, didn't work, and broke my trackpad in the process.

Specs: Windows 10 using OBS 27.0.1 and LiveSplit 1.8.16 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500U GPUs: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and AMD Radeon Vega 8 iGPU RAM: 8 GB DDR4 2400 MHz RAM (However 2 GB is entirely reserved for the iGPU so in reality I only have 6 GB to my disposal) If there is any other important information I can see if I can provide that
