I use Auto Acceleration in SMB1 which makes you auto dash without pressing B. I play on a emulator with a PS4 Controller. You bind both Left and Right to your B button and you can dash without pressing a extra button for B. Is this allowed?

The Reason why I think it's not illegal is because it is not affect Mario's Movement, it's making it easier to accelerate him. In other words, an example of affecting Mario's movement would be to make him go faster or make him jump higher, that's my definition but I want to know what you guys think.

Pressing left+right isn't possible on a standard NES controller under regular circumstances, so it's not allowed. Left+Right also affects acceleration in this game, so it would provide an unfair advantage.
