[quote=Timmiluvs quoted]Also, the irony of you complaining that they are forcing you to use their websites while suggesting that the solution is to force them to use this site is great.[/quote]

where in any of my posts do i suggest that they come here and use this site?

[quote=Timmiluvs quoted] some kind of crime by "advertising" or "soliciting" their own website is just plain silly and misinformed.[/quote]

For you to say that i am misinformed assumes that i was given information about this from someone. all i have to do to prove what i said is correct is simply link the megaman and donkeykong country leaderboards here. the text is as clear as day as soon as anyone goes to the leaderboard there is a link to another website. it is a fact. what is also a fact is that an SR user cannot post a run to these leaderboards. you calling this silly is what i call sweeping problems under the rug.

Thanks for necroing an almost 2 month old discussion that already reached its conclusion.

Timmi, this was useful to me. I know now that if Jesse_Lee_Porter asks for a category, I will unconditionally say no.

Aw thanks presjpolk. Im flattered that you think i might run the games you mod. I prefer any% anyway.

The problem has been known for a while now. An API sync is something I want to work on sooner than later, it's just figuring out how to manage it in the database.

Could we have a better means to edit multiple runs for a category including obsolete runs? It's a bit tedious to go to the obsolete filter click a run, edit and then go back and have to click obsolete again for a different run.

There should really be some means to middle click runs, definitely

I don't think they're a mistake, they're great

Thank you SpiderSponge for, once again, your wonderful remark that has nothing to do here.

This has probably been spoken about before, but will there ever possibly be a way to manually arrange runs on your profile rather than have them set in order of date of most recent run? It would be pretty cool to be able to organise them manually, or by the game's release date etc.

^ Yes, this has been mentioned. ¤Looks at my profile.¤ Yep, still looks weird. It's just a few games that could be placed better, but still, it angers me when I see it.

It's implementing something like that into the UI that's the problem.

Yeah I understand it would be tricky to do. It's more of a personal little annoyance because I run several games from one particular series and it would be nice to have them in order of game, and if I start running a game from a different series it's all gonna be jumbled up. Not a huge deal of course, but definitely a bit of a bugbear.

Is there a reason why exactly, that deleting your posts is allowed on the forum? Leaves you with situations like this https://www.speedrun.com/Speedrunning/thread/ygp66

I understand why it exists for a game's forum, but on THE forum doesn't make much sense. Idk lol

Is there going to be work done on variables soon where instead of selecting one category or all full game categories you can pick different ones. I will give an example so say all categories except one fits the requirement for one of the variables, but one category doesn't. This leaves the boards with one empty variable for a category. The only workaround is to create the same variable for all except the one that doesn't fit it. Then create a different one for that one. This causes an annoying issue behind the scenes of the page with having so many variables. I feel it would be much better when we look at the list of categories we could highlight which ones it goes to.

If this was already suggested then I apologize.

What if (regarding the ordering of runs on your profile page) it was based on the order you put the games in under your Games tab? Like say you follow 5 games; A, B, C, D, E. You've got a run in Game B and a run in Game D, and three different categories in Game E. If you have your games in BEACD order, the run from Game B would be on top, then the three from Game E, then the one from Game D.
