What's up with user "0" (zero)? They signed up 8 months ago? I thought the 1 or 2 character thing was fixed a long time before than.

The new username rules came to place in late January / early February this year. So no rules were broken when @0 did it.

@BB is not an alt though and it was created 8 months ago as well.

The point here is that people could create accounts with 1-3 letters names in January.

I find the restrictions that they added to usernames rather interesting. While there are some that make sense, such as banned words and invalid characters, some don't make sense at all. Like why is it impossible to have _ as the first character of your name for example? I can't think of any way how that would mess with the system yet they still added it.

Nah it was possible to do that last year, even in January of this year there were some interesting accounts created to say the least.
