I had this idea for a Discord bot that would basically post a message for every new submitted run in a game. I find that it would be very helpful, as it would be a way to instantly notify moderators on Discord, rather than refreshing speedrun.com every 5 minutes (which I was I do a lot lol).

Has anything like this been done before? Sorry if this is the wrong forum btw.

I believe something like this exists. I just cannot for the life remember which community actually uses this. When my memory doesn't fail me, I'll post it here.
