Rollback Reuqest

Recently(Less than a day ago) while trying to add a new category on the leaderboard for Legacy of the Duelist, while changing settings on it(Specifically trying to remove a sub-category for that specific new added category, All Duelist Challenges). I have accidently removed the sub categories(No Banlist/Banlist/Story decks) for all the other main categories on the full-game leaderboard with the runs on them not visible anymore after i removed the subcategory for Story Decks. I was wondering if an admin could either roll it back or fix it in some other possible way. Thank you for any help https://www.speedrun.com/Yu-Gi-Oh_Legacy_of_the_Duelist https://www.speedrun.com/Yu-Gi-Oh_Legacy_of_the_Duelist/full_game

@Tagerplayer this is due to a known site error that causes runs to go invisible if they don't match up with cats/sub-cats. It sounds like all you need to do is add those sub-categories back in (exactly as they were named before). The runs will match up and become visible again.

For future -- If you want to make changes to a category/subcategory in this manner, you'll need to have links for each current run open. For instance, all Story Decks runs should be open as tabs. Once you update the leaderboard, you can reverify each run by editing it and selecting "verify. " The runs will appear under the new/revised category. Let me know if you got questions :)

I'm not sure where this misconception started, but the site keeps track of the variables ( & thus subcategories) with their IDs, not their names, it's why we can have multiple of the same name. adding them "back" isn't going to give the variable the same ID, and will not "reconnect" the runs.

you need to either grab all runs via the API and re-assign them manually (or via the api) or press the big orange button to assign the default to them, then re-assign them.

It would cause way more issues if the site would automatically assign variables.
