As there's been quite a bit more popularity for this game of late I was wondering if we actually had set up a discord for it? Would be cool to all gather and talk about the runs there.
If there isn't one, I wouldn't mind setting up one. I have plenty of experience with Discord servers, being on the server staff of the Wii Sports Series server and owning two decent size servers.
There is a pretty massive discord already setup for it. It's not focused on Speedrunning the game, though. It's not official, but it is a partnered discord server. https://discord.gg/pitchblackdungeon
That said, I'd love to have either a channel in that discord or a separate discord altogether to talk about DD speedruns.
I asked in the general chat and they didn't really take note of it. Maybe I'll ask again in a different channel but I wouldn't wanna spam them or anything. I'm cool if you wanna set one up for the moment then if they do want us on there then we can migrade over.
The problem is more that the general channel gets about 5-10 messages per minute. It's not reasonable for it to be noticed there (I had to search to find your message).
Maybe shoot a note to one of the Mods in a DM.
Yeah, May be worth actually putting it in the DD related content/ Guild hall section too. I'm mostly busy the rest of the day but if anyone else wants to ask anything feel free too.
