I came across these images:

Where are they taken? Is this Sand Ruins 1? And if so, which floor gate is it?

Unless I'm mistaken, this is right at the corner of the platform you spawn on in Sand Ruins Mission 1, which can also be accessed in a few of the other missions as well

It is indeed this platform, you can access it in 6-2 like this : (I believe easier ways were found to go there now).

When you kick the egg, it will try to come back to billy no matter what, so clipping in the sand after kicking it will make the egg push Billy on the side, and the plan was to get billy inside the Boss Door room on 6-2. I managed to get the egg go there easily, but Billy can't go through the wall it seems.

Thanks guys, but in that TAS I see it clips through the pyramid but not at the beginning platform. Is there anyone who could make a video or guide on where we want to clip through to get to the boss room, which methods have been tried and such? I am still kind of confused but it's really interesting and I'd love to spend some days trying to find a new clip there

You can clip pretty much anywhere around the pyramid, and even on some other platforms (see 6-3 in this tas at 54:28). It's pretty random though, which makes it really hard for RTA.

For RTA, the best thing would be to do the parcour at 48:45, but then go to the left instead of going to the bees. The boss door is right under that platform, but Billy can't seem to be able to clip in this room for some reason.

Using the bees like in the TAS is impossible in real time. Getting that skip would allow skipping a long cutscene and some slow hoops.

Hey Fanboss,

I tried contacting you through Twitter but it seems I couldn't message you somehow.

I don't know if you've seen the new Waterfall skip, but it means it is suddenly a lot more interesting to research mini game coin level (1-4). I am hoping there is a way to complete it faster than the two minute timer and I thought of luring the purple big cat at the beginning area of the game up to the mini game man and starting the conversation at the exact frame you get hit by the cat and die. I haven't been able to do this correctly though, and was wondering if you could help me out by using TAS to perform this task.

Another thing I am interested in is if the emblem for waterfall is perhaps already present in the mini game level and if you have some kind of hack to get in there. It would be so cool if you could help me do some research on the stage

Actually just got to test both on Dolphin and it doesn't seem like dying at the exact moment you talk to the mini game guy does anything. Neither is an emblem hidden in the waterfall cave. Seems like we'll have to get more creative with this one.

Just to let you know MrFami, I am pretty sure no levels in the game have more than one emblem present at a time, and therefore there is no way to collect the emblem of a different mission on another mission.

Little update:

Do a test - after talking to the mini game guy collect the first three coins that are on the first slope closest to you. At the third one, it should make a different sound as it's considered a collection and it will add to you time. However, when you stand in front of the first coin, kick the egg away and walk down the slope (the egg will follow you naturally) the egg will collect the first two coins, make that sound and when the third one is collected by only the egg without Billy touching it, it will repeat that sound.

This means there are basically ways to fuck around with the clock, which is a little, tiny shimmer of hope for a mini game skip.

Btw that sound is for collecting coins in rapid succession, so maybe the egg might just be too slow, however, if it doesn't give you the time bonus for successive coins if you're not holding the egg, that would be interesting.

Oh shit, I thought it actually produced that sound for coins in set v.s. just rapid succession. Hm, back to the lab. :)
