I want to run CNC Generals (And Zero Hour) however, my timer will not run whilst the game is running, im on win 10 so that might be part of it. any suggestions?

Hmm... I don't have Win 10, so I'm not really sure how that works. What splitter are you using? I believe in LiveSplit you have the option of having Global Hotkeys, meaning that no matter what window is active, if a button is pressed it activates. I also run Generals in Windowed mode so that i can alt tab without glitching the game out

Why not? The way I do it is in the shortcut to launch the game, I add " -win" to force winows to display in windowed mode. In the ini files you can set a custom resolution too

where do i add the -win?

I would answer that question but every time I remember this thread I'm on a computer with strict control that doesn't let me do that so I could explain...

someone tried to help me but it doesnt work at all i see people on a version/instance of the game that i dont have that works flawlessly, do you know where i could get that
