How to stream a game (from YouTube live)

Hello,

I have done a few streams on YouTube live before and was wondering if it was possible to put them on here. I don't even know how to do it from Twitch, and I'm not on Twitch for multiple reasons.

Thanks.

I don't think I get the question in it's entirety, but I'll try to answer as best as possible.

If I'm mistaken, and they DO work already: Click on your name on the top right corner, click on settings and on that page, tick the "Show up on Streams page while streaming" http://i.imgur.com/QxDLkqN.png

"-.I don't even know how to do it from Twitch,.-" Well, just in case you want to know, here's how to "do it" from Twitch: http://help.twitch.tv/customer/portal/articles/1262922-open-broadcaster-software

"-.I'm not on Twitch for multiple reasons.-" Why's that? You got me curios now. :O

I hope I could help. ~ HDK

OK, I've got that ticked and it doesn't work. Thanks.

As for your curiosity... I don't use Twitch mainly because it was so hard to get started and it seemed like a horrible slow platform. I also hate Amazon, even more than Google. And the quality isn't as good.

Not to keep going off topic, but the original question has been answered, so I think I'm safe :) ...

Is there a reason why more people don't stream to multiple sites? Is there a stigma that I'm not aware of? Is it actually a headache? I know sites have an exclusivity clause if a broadcaster partners with them, but does that effect non-partners?

Streaming to multiple sites at the same time:

+reaches more people (possibly) +anything else?

-Needs more bandwidth (x times where x is the count of sites you stream to) -More CPU/GPU usage (I dunno if there's a streaming software that acutally allows for multiple site streaming, if there is this point is invalidated) -Needs more managing (multiple chats to watch, multiple stream titles to edit etc.) -If going for partnership, you have to decide which site you want (due to exclusivity clause)

IIRC the Warframe Devs stream to youtube & twitch at the same time, so it's a possibility to do so.

Yeah, there is software and there are websites that provide multi-casting services. And the main stream that I watch that does this, they are able to consolidate all of the chat into one feed on their end. Granted, they are a talk show with multiple participants.

I've heard from people who are afraid of abandoning one site and possibly losing a chunk of their viewers, should they gain traction on another site or get partnered. I personally wouldn't fret about it as a streamer, and I wouldn't create any backlash as a viewer.

Anyway, will YouTube streams ever get added as streams? It'd add more members, and more streams would be available.
