How about a category that requires you to kill specific enemies as a total meme category? The appearance of zombies etc is always consistent, aside from the ones that pile through windows... right? I suppose it'd be PC-only since it would probably require the use of the SRT to show enemy HP so people don't have to waste tons of time poking downed enemies to check if it's actually dead or not.

Requiring the player to have to kill specific zombies or groups of zombies, G-Adults, Ivies, etc would be an interesting way of increasing routing complexity, especially for 60fps/knifeless. It's still a total fucking meme, though.

Ive been running nade only. Launcher and defense. Mostly used as offense. Used defensively if i get grabbed by something that can install kill and only flash as my reg grenades are all counted for. Probably not possible on hardcore. However the amount of ammo i run around with there's a chance I'm running at the highest difficulty for standard anyways.

I dont think the knife needs to be used at all in a handgun or knifeless run. Or does it need to be removed from your inventory asap. Just dont use it. Could always discard it when you discard something else. I usually discard that and other items during the Marvin call. Knife only runs can have handgun equipped through out. Shouldnt but does. So no need to ruin your route if it isn't something you normally wouldn't do.

Alright so HG Only can be done on Standard, but now i need proof that it can be done on Hardcore. Anyone up for the challenge? This is the only thing keeping HG only from being a category.

I can try and cover the Leon hardcore attempts. I haven't been able to finish a Claire Hardcore run yet so I don't think I would be able to with HG only.

If I manage to finish a Leon run and no one else has done a Claire I can give it a try.

Alright, so I finished Leon 1st HG only Hardcore. I'm gonna try and do Claire 1st HG only Hardcore tomorrow. Anyone else working on the Claire run? If so, any tips for making it easier on myself?

Well right now I'm not even able to get past G2. I think his behavior is different for Claire than it is Leon. When I did Leon last night I had the fight down without shooting him once after like four tries. With Claire it feels like dumb luck that he doesn't hit me. Anyone else notice this? Where I'm at right now, i wont have enough ammo to finish the run if I shoot G2.

I would Love to have a Knifeless category, but with using it as a defense item.
