Old rules

I have only recently started running super meat boy, so I'm not aware of what the rules used to be, but for individual levels some of the times (including 1st place times) do not adhere to the rules stated. Is this something that is removed upon request? Or do times existing before a rule is set in place have a sort of grandfathered loophole? I wasn't sure how else to contact any moderators so this seemed like an appropriate place to ask.

What makes you think they do not adhere to the rules states?

Rule - "The video must include the actual level being played from start to finish including spawn frame and timer disappear. Replays will not be accepted." In 1-8 the person in first place only shows a replay. There was at least one one more time that I had seen that also was only a replay but I'm unable to find it right now. When I do I will post them as replies in this thread.

Edit: Actually all IL runs by that user are replays. Avetixz

The level of verification required across the years have changed. This is common in many speedgames. Worth noting that the leaderboards don't have all the fastest times including in 1-8.

Thank you for the response.

I'm aware that most IL times are not the max time or the best time; I have about 20 times on ps4 where I'm ranked #1 on the leaderboards, but this is almost all because of pause buffering which makes lots of these times unobtainable for console users. I was just simply wondering why some times didn't adhere to the current set of rules, but you answered it perfectly and I understand that rules change.
