Shouldn't 30th anniversary have it's own category?

It's pretty widely known in the ST community at this point that 30th runs faster than the official hardware. Shouldn't 30th anniversary runs be their own category?

Is there an online resource available to verify that this is definitely the case? I was told the collection was "arcade perfect" for its versions of SF2, but of course it's possible I was misinformed. As mod, I just need to be able to justify any changes I make to keep a good, clean board.

I have 30th and the arcade version, I'll record some gameplay samples for ya and send them your way

No need, testing for SFII Turbo was already done back in 2018 so it's been known for a long time, the ruleset has just never been adjusted to acknowledge the findings - something I've been advocating for a long time.

Edit: I'd like to also add that I don't think a simple category split is the best answer based on these findings as the real issue isn't just that the Anniversary collection is imperfect but that it should be allowed to exist cohesivly as long as it isn't artificially faster beyond what the original game allows - a situation we actually can simulate through selective Turbo speeds. - because of this I feel like it's better to simply ban runs using higher relative levels of speed granted by turbo on the Anniversary Collection which the authentic Arcade version cannot match.

There are also many Anniversary runs on the board listed under the Arcade platform which gives a false impression of authenticity since the Anniversary Collection is not Arcade Perfect - I think that should be changed to reflect it's differences.

This is also true for 3rd strike (slight speed difference.) I have mentioned this briefly on a discord before. It was tested a long time before this at launch as well. However, going from Arcade to PS2 or vice versa never felt like too much of adjustment.

It couldn't hurt to test again. Now that Street Fighter 2 Speedruns seem to be more active these past 2 years.

--> It might be nice to also have several individuals test ALL the stages, since it does have an impact. Speed runners other than myself seem to be very capable in finding this out.

I would be very curious to see the findings, even if the same, and what is decided for the leaderboard.
