The real truth is, 99% of the people that want RTA is because they have way better computers than some of us, therefor people couldn't even get close to them. When IGT is the main, it's a free for all. Best team wins. Simple. But that's 'not fair' Not fair putting everyone on the same field. But it is fair for the better PC being able to beat the better players? Come on FailFish

@RE_Snow I think its pretty rude to group a bunch of people who want RTA for real reasons into a group that does not represent them. From what I understand, you primarily run NG+ where IGT is a perfect indicator for how fast the players run the game. Where I primarily run NG where RTA is the best indicator because menuing is an important aspect of the run which is not timed on the In-game timer.

I meant that for NG+. I run NG as well. RTA for NG is fine due to the menu playing a big part. But for NG+ that's the only reason in my opinion people want it.

I wouldn't mind IGT as long as you don't cap the frame rate.

Also worth a mention, I had the RTA WR for ages on a slow laptop, then people beat my time purley because they had a better rig.

That's what I'm saying. And Perhaps we could talk about 120/unlocked being a thing. I think it would be fine.

This community has already proven itself incapable of setting aside personal biases for personal gain. The moderators should just close this discussion and lay down the rules they agree on as fair for everyone and we should all accept them. If you do not like the rules they set talk to them or leave. These threads are just now endless loops.

This community has already shown itself to be cancerous. "Voting" and the pretense of democracy is pointless as has been demonstrated by all of the self-serving agendas in the forums over the past week. This forum needs a hard and fast set of rules in place as Auddy, Jcstrickland, Zenix and I have said repeatedly.

Changing the rules won't stop me from taking records

This is the right decision, whether the community likes it or not.
