This is going to be a trial to see if people will do it.

One poll question:

Lets say it is faster to dupe an asset anyway, do Cap The Collector, and then do the 7th asset after having done Cap The Collector already. Would this be allowed or not?

I personally don't care, so I abstain from voting on this.

Depends on how this category is looked at. If the category consists of people running it because of nostalgia then it shouldn't be allowed. But if the category consists of people doing it to see how far you can go without duping, then I guess it could be allowed. Although it sounds really slow no matter how you put it.

Also, I think that should be allowed. I don't really care either but I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed (unless some route with that ended up being faster and people actually complained about it, which I doubt would happen).

We always said you can do the normal any% route, then do the other assets after KYFC and it would be a valid 7 assets run. I don't see why we should add in limitations on how you unlock CtC, since the point of 7 assets is to let the route evolve, unlike any% (old strats) which is set in stone.

There, I submitted a run, even though it stinks. Even though I followed the instructions (complete 7 assets before CtC call), I still think rules should be changed to timing stops when both Sonny is killed in KYFC and 7 assets are completed. With the current timing, completing KYFC before 7 assets doesn't make sense, but doing CtC early might be advantageous.

Seems like the category is dead and not many people submitted runs, so I'd say the trial was a failure. However, it seems the entire game is dead speedrunning wise, so I'm fine with keeping it.

I removed the category for now just since it seemed quite dead, it never really took off and interest seems like it will not go up. If I'm wrong then I can re-add it.
