I was wondering if it's okay to run Ty 1 on emulators for the "console" categories. I'm saving up to grab a PC copy, just for ease of access and recording over console, but I figure it doesn't hurt to be able to practice and maybe make a meaningful attempt before then.

There's nothing listed in the rules about emulation... or, well, anything (should rules be added to the runs?). Hence wanting to ask before starting.

Hi oreo. First off, thanks for bringing to my attention the lack of rules, I'll fix that in a little bit. Secondly, as of now, we are not going to allow any emulator runs due to a lack of good emulators for any generation six console. However, if you have a console copy of the game, you do not need a video to post a run here (unless you get a really good time). If you dont have a console copy, my advice is to just start practicing on emulator for when you do get the pc version. if you have any other questions, feel free to ask either here, or join the Ty discord.

Hey, thanks for the quick response! I'm probably just missing an obvious link somewhere, but where would I find the link to the Ty Discord? I'd love to be able to hop on and see what's going on even before I'm able to start practicing runs. I don't see a link in the forums or resources for any games in the series, and I'm new enough to the site that I don't know where else I should look.
