Hi everyone, so Im on a Mac, thats not helping so I have no option but to use llanfair, but the global hotkeys aren't working, I'm getting really fed up as I think my runs won't be verified if there is no timer involved :(
most games dont require you to show the timer, aslong as what you say matches up (ie, video length is correct) you will be fine, also (dont take this as fact, i have never used llanfair) make sure that the global hotkeys are enabled, the option should in the settings.
Ive enabled them, they seem to be unresponsive huh wierd, oh and the only reason I thought I need to time, was cus there was one dickhead mod that rejected me due to no timer, even though the rules said nothing about a timer..
I have a mac too, and the only way I've gotten Llanfair to work on mine is to go to the settings menu, go to keyboard icon, and make sure the "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys..." is unchecked. This will turn off all the normal mac functions associated with the "F" keys (make screen brighter, make keyboard brighter, etc.), so there's no interference. I should probably make a video for how to set this stuff up on macs, because getting OBS to record audio on macs is also kind of a huge problem.
