maybe it sounds silly, but my question is for real Can I pause the livesplit and leave the game completely idle? to then activate the livesplit and continue with the run. Maybe it makes me want to go to the bathroom or an emergency XD. I would really like to know if you can pause (As long as, of course, you do not interact with the game until you resume the livesplit)
There’s nothing against taking a break during the run, however the timer won’t stop if you take a break. The run must also be one constant recording with no missing footage (e.g. You can’t have 5 minutes of missing footage where you’ve taken an break).
About a month ago, there was a community poll held in the discord to add IGT to Deltarune. After a close poll of about 70 to 5, we have added the use of IGT to the game. This IGT only makes a difference to the All Chapters categories, removing the time spent switching between chapter 1 and chapter 2
