@Lucidus Just asking for mod doesn’t mean you should get mod and if the super mod doesn’t acknowledge your mod request after 3 weeks (that would be impolite but they might just brush it off) that doesn’t mean you can use this thread either.
This thread is for last resorts when a mod is inactive or runs are not getting verified in a timely manner. If the mods for the game you’re requesting mod for are active and runs are being verified then that probably means you won’t get mod because they won’t need the help.
I’m other words, you cant use this thread to gain mod status when active mods don’t give it to you when you ask.
Requesting to be upgraded to Super Mod for Marvel Super Heroes War of the Gems ( https://www.speedrun.com/Marvel_Super_Heroes_War_of_the_Gems ) so that I may add another moderator. The current, and only Super Mod does not seem to be active, and cannot be contacted through his Youtube account. I've tried Steam as well, no response yet.
Edit: I should also not that he hasn't been on active on the site for at least 1 month.
@Smelly_Mctroll yup, he's been offline for 6 weeks now so ya he's very much considered inactive in terms of speedrun.com
@Lucidus I’m not an admin, you’re right. I’m just clarifying how this thread works since your original request only said you just wanted mod, not that you had a pending run or an issue where you couldn’t get a run verified/a question answered.
Since this thread is only checked every 7-10 days by kirkq, a lot of us try to help out by answering questions or clarifying things in the meantime.
Hello, I believe this is the right place, but if not, can someone guide me to the right one?
I've asked a question a lot of months ago in the forum for TMNT 2003 for gba and it hasnt been replied, also as of lately other players have made other forum threads that need moderation contact and no one seems to be actively looking at that forum for months now.
Is there anyway to requests new mods for that game? It shows very little activity and not a lot of active players but maybe the lack of mod contact is causing that as well.
I can volunteer myself as I am bringing this issue to the table but any other more experienced TMNT series runner could be chosen as well, Im not sure how mods are determined.

@MrDino023 you can contact the supermods on their social media(the one with the red sword next to their name) and ask them.
Hi, Just wanted to ask if it was possible to change the mod power of someone on a particular game. What happened was that on Super Mario Run a Mod was accidentally changed from verifier to Super Mod and was intended to be changed to a regular Mod instead of a Super. funkydrops: If the Issac community sees this as an issue, they need to sort this out. Since you don't have runs on the board, I don't think you're necessarily the person to handle this. Separately, I don't like "Game doesn't require verification", but I think we need something like "Automatically approve runs below threshold", which isn't implemented.
Dyne_Nuitari: The game has plenty of mods. If they want somewhat inactive moderators removed they should request here.

Buffet_Time: The game was requested by the current moderator and created on Jul 23. I don't see your name anywhere in the logs for this board. The logs would suggest you never actually moderated this specific board, but maybe there's some detail I'm missing. Is it possible an old board was deleted because it had no runs or something?

Hi, I can't delete a game page despite being a mod for it. It's not needed as the runs have been merged with the original game page. Seeing as there isn't much need to have it's own page. There are some minor differences, but not enough to warrant a new page. There have been sub categories made for the HD version because IGT is in question. It could be faster than the original or slower. Until there is definitive proof that it is the same speed it has it's own category.
I'm wondering if a full mod can delete the game page please as it's unnecessary now.

Hi, I asked about 3.5 months ago on the Mario Sports Mix Forum & Discord if they could add new categories, I never got a response. A bit later (don't know exactly when) I asked a Super Mod of that game but he didn't respond either. 3 weeks ago I desided to ask all Mods on Twitter, I did get a response and he said that he will add me as a mod once hes home, even after remembering him a few days after he never did that and no categories were added. I have a couple of requests.
First: I am the only active super mod for Titan Souls ( https://www.speedrun.com/titan_souls ).
I would like to request to have @Reyneur ( https://www.speedrun.com/user/Reyneur/info ) removed as super mod from Titan Souls. I believe he submitted one run of the demo of the game, and has not been seen or heard from since. He was last online 9 months ago, and he is unreachable via his social media (I tried Twitter over the summer, and more recently, his account is set to private. I tried Twitch, and his Twitch account no longer exists or was removed. I tried Youtube, and got no response; his last Youtube account activity was 3 years ago.

I am not specifically requesting they be removed as super mods, but I do believe it would be appropriate for them to be removed as they are no longer interested in the game and they are not active in the speedrunning community, so if you're examining the Titan Souls mods, and you see that they are inactive, I would support their removal. So that I am not the only super mod, I would promote @Zic3 to be a super mod along with me. He rarely runs Titan Souls now since his AGDQ 2017 run, but he is active on Twitch with a few streams per week, he is active on his social media, and he is extremely knowledgeable about the game. He is a consistent and competitive runner, and he plays on PS4 whereas most other people play on PC, so I think it would be good to have him as a PS4 expert for the game.

The run was a first run ever by @Obroe, he is the sole default Super mod, and he is inactive ( https://www.speedrun.com/user/Obroe/info ). I watched it before I began running the game, and it is not a competitive time, I am of the opinion that after this run he lost interest in iO. Notwithstanding the time on his first run, I have been waiting for my runs to be verified. I tried to reach him on two occasions on Twitter, and on two occasions on Twitch. He does not seem to be active on either. It has not been 3 weeks yet, but as you can see on Obroe's profile, he was last online 3 months ago, and so in the circumstances I am hoping you will make an exception, since the first post mentions 3 months as being considered inactive. I am requesting to replace Obroe as super mod for iO. I also wish very much to make improvements to the game settings and the layout settings for the leaderboard page.
