Howdy! I see we have single segment runs now. I have a question about all normal runs missions. Did I got it correctly - you should skip all missions which don't have exactly "Normal Run" objective? So you don't need to look for Bosses, treasure hunting, gathering animals and play autoscrollers with survive simulator like Worst Cave or Honeycomb Highway?
...I probably should have made a list of missions. I'll put that in the rules now.
Normal Run & Mach Speed missions will be included; everything else will not be.
The reason why I did include the mach speed ones is because besides the fact that you're going mach speed, the goal is still the same - reach the goal ring, which fits in line with the others.
That being said, if the strict definition is more likely to allow you to do runs, I don't mind dropping the mach speed missions if it means runners.
(Personally I can't even wrap my mind around Worst Cave, so I understand anyways lmao)
Nah, I got your point, it makes sense. I just personally hate this autoscroller with survive-simulator. I will probably do more ILs instead of single segment. Btw, it looks like game has really big issue - it dies consistently after 20-30 minutes of gameplay, which is bad for long single segments runs. I hope they will fix it somehow in next releases.
I totally would agree with removing mach speed levels from the All Normal Missions category. I loathe them, especially Worst Cave (the WORST offender!). I think just having normal goal ring missions is more than enough. And I haven't played enough to notice an issue with letting it run for about twenty minutes or so.
^ I agreed, we need some changes considering we still have only one single segment run for all categories. Single segment is basically dead, and there is no way somebody will start doing long category runs because 30 min game crash is still an issue
I have tried a minute ago and I did not seem to crash after thirty minutes. I don't know what's different between you guys and me, but I can try to help figure it out.
it's not exactly 30 minutes for me, it just crash consistently after some time of playing it
It doesn't look random to me. It looks like some specific processes (like stage loading etc) can crash the game more quickly, but even if you just play any level for very long time, it still gonna crash
