 I don't have any problems with people doing the v0.9.3 mostly, I'm just expressing my thought's and opinions here. People run witch version they want to and I'm totally fine with that. I just wanna recommend people to try out 0.8.1 too someday, since you might enjoy it as much as I've done.

Anyone interested about running v0.8.1 as well?

I have to say, v0.9.3 looks awsome and I really like it too. Still though, I think v0.8.1 has it's charm in the way of more shortcuts.
I would be happy to see more people run v0.8.1 as well since that one's more... speedrun-friendly I guess...?
I mean, there's less things patched and that creates possibilities for a lot of fun shortcuts that you have never even tried yet. I've had very fun doing this version especially when speedrunning it. When speaking about shortcuts, they're perfect in speedrunning and 0.8.1 has lots of them. Actually I think it's kind of a shame when I find shortcuts in 0.8.1 and them people doesn't use them, these are such new shortcuts that're both faster and easier than doing the lap normally or doing the former versions of the skips. Take Shiny Suburbs, Green Valley and Around the Lighthouse for example, those has excellent shortcuts and I'm still finding both easier and newer strats for each skip.
I really recommend giving 0.8.1 a try, attempting the shortcuts and see what you think about it.
You can have both 0.8.1 and 0.9.3 at the same computer,
I've tried it and it works fine to me. So 0.9.3 will not get replaced when installing 0.8.1, it'll be kept safe as it was a separate game. So there's no issue with multiple versions of this game as far as I know. 
  
However folks, feel free to tell your opinions here weather you think it's a bad or good idea, I would like to know what people think about this...

0.8.x looks fun, I will definitely try it one day. All the skips are gone in 0.9.3. At least 25 skips were patched out. I'll be happy to be able to try them again on 0.8

I might give 0.8.1 a try some time. Would be cool to stuff 100% in there with it too. It's been a while since I played the 0.8.x versions,  but back then I just played intentionally most of the time, so I didn't explore a lot of the potential shortcuts.
