New Game + True Ending?

Isn't NG+ only Aincrad though? Your Hollow Area progress stays so you couldn't do true end runs in ng+

I can not see exactly what the original question was as it appears to have been deleted however the rules of the new game+ board requires you only to defeat Heathcliff. I do not believe full hollow area completion is required for that fight ( can't remember as save file I've been using for runs has hollow area complete). Even if it is not required I would suggest completing it as certain items from the hollow area can be very helpful for a ng+ run.

Oh, lol, he deleted his question.

Basically he asked "why is there no NG+ True End where you beat Hollow Kirito?" And my response was because NG+ is Aincrad only (Hollow Area progress carries over) so it's basically impossible.

Yeah, I just havent finish the game yet thats why i deleted it i was just wondering why it wasnt a thing but u did reply to my question thx

I played through this recently, and suggest renaming the categories, as it's kinda confusing what Any% and 'True End' is unless you look at the rules. I suggest renaming Any% to Hollow Arc, and Any% True End to either Aincrad Arc or Infinity Arc

@GreenZSaber The categories have been updated. Any% has been split into two categories for either arc with True Ending category now requiring the completion of the Yukki fight as well.

Thanks for the update. I'm guessing using a one-way file transfer from Vita to PS4, then starting a new game from PS4 would still count as NG+, despite never having played the game on PS4 before? I'm working on building up a file on Vita to transfer to PS4, then I may likely record the first run on PS4.

Yes as long as the game has been completed on that save file which allows you to use the file in a new game
