When beating your time

I'm very new to speedrunning, and I couldn't find where this information should be.

If I already have submitted a run, but i beat my time and want to replace my old record, do I have to go to my current record and edit it, or do I need to submit it as a new run? :)

Submit it as a new run. Your old run will become obsolete, meaning it won't show on the leaderboards :D

about the same topic when submitting new run im learning a new game so im beating my score kinda often do you guys submit every time you beat your old pb or only once a month or is there some kind of unwritten rule to not piss of moderator ?

If you improve your time, you can submit your run as soon as you like. There is no rule that limits how often you submit a better run.
