I see some mods verifying their own runs, its supposed to be verified by a diff mod then the player hosting the run, also i would like a 1-3 insane/exreme demon misc run in the categories.

If mods weren't allowed to be able to verify their own runs, then the option wouldn't be there to do so. Simple as. Because it's there we are allowed to do it.

1-3 Insane/Extreme Demons category is also very stupid in my opinion, I'll ask other mods and see that they think.

Why would a harder difficulty be a stupid suggestion to the current categories? Im also fine with 1- or 1-5 demons with all the diffs (easy, medium, hard, insane, extreme) so everyone can partecipate, it aint hard to add.

if you dont like a category, just dont run it.

thats not what i suggested, i suggested a difficulty rating on the current 5 / 10 demons. e.g. the current 1-8 1-9 etc runs do have a 1x, 1,5x and 2x subcategory, maybe onn the demon categories we can add easy, medium, hard etc

I see your point, but here is the other side to that:

There is no rule in 5 demons saying that you cant do all easy demons, med demons, etc. Your time will just be slower. If you are wanting there to be different difficulty, you can implement the really fast, really hard demons into your run to make your time better.

I also feel that if you make difficulty separation, people will just run the easiest one and not try to do harder, faster demons because they don't need to to have a good time.

1-3 Insane-extreme demons ? In speedrunning ? Even if you are really good at the game, it would take too much time to complete. I know there are 10hours speedruns (and even more) for some games, but in this case, it would be really annoying to try and retry an extreme demons speedrun if you fail (to get the WR for example).

Edit : This category won't be affordable for everyone. A lot of players can't even beat an insane demon.
