Also, if you want to see if he stole a run, check if his time is tied with anybody.
While this could possibly help in case he actually stole it from someone on the leaderboard, it's not definitive proof that they're not stolen at this point. Not everyone submits their times to speedrun.com, so he could very well have stolen other unsubmitted runs from youtube.
You might think that this is a bit overboard and maybe overthinking it, but he did break a leaderboard's trust, so I'm afraid in this case extra precautions are warranted.
Jaypin also exclusively ran short categories, he probably has hundreds of tied world records.
In my opinion stealing a run is the scummiest way to cheat, you have to be so lazy and so selfish that you aren't even willing to take the time to splice a run. You're passing someone else's work off as your own and that isn't okay, and having all of his times rejected is a fair punishment.
it fascinates me that jaypin would run the first level of over a thousand games so he would have the highest speedgame count only to get caught stealing runs from other people. it's not like running 1 IL per game is hard, so was he trying to be as lazy as possible by also stealing runs to make himself look good? come on, man lmao
me reading that jaypin's been unbanned after rejecting his runs and ghosting him bc of anxiety:
I'm sorry but how the hell did Jaypin get unbanned when I clearly showed proof of him stealing at least 3 runs from another Sonic runner?!
I had no idea who he was until now (mainly because I joined 6 months ago) but if he is stealing runs, then he should stay banned.
So it's ok to cheat by stealing other peoples run and submitting them as your own? Okay, I guess there's no consequences for stealing/cheating anymore? This unban is ridiculous.

That post will explain what happened behind the ban.
they probably unbanned him because he wasn't going to do it again
One thing worth mentioning, which Jaypin88 doesn't really explain in the video... yes, he may have uploaded the runs to youtube in September 2015, but he submitted them to sr.c in July 2019; Almost 4 years later, 1 even had the submission text of "Super old runs I did a few years ago".
If the runs were submitted to sr.c. in 2015, or 2016 when Jaypin signed up for sr.c., I could possibly buy the apology for it, but they were sat on his youtube where long enough time had passed to realise it was wrong to have plagiarised the runs. It doesn't really matter if there weren't boards for the runs to go up until that point (I'm not sure when the IL boards for CD 11 were added). He made the conscious decision to add them to sr.c. way after the fact.
He made a 30 minute long apology video
Probably sent it to the mods and asked for an unban and since the runs were old they just unbanned him without really thinking about it
