Couple questions regarding the run for this game.

What are the cycles set to for the two current categories? Are max cycles allowed? If not, could they be for a separate category? Is there a written route or any type of resources available? Thanks in advance.

Cycles are set at 3000

I have some notes for the route I could find and post for you.

Alright thanks. I'm interested in running super sleuth as well. Do you have a written route for that as well? What about the max cycles questions?

I don't see a good reason to create a category for max cycles. This game has no runners, and just making a new category for each person to put one run on the leaderboard seems silly.

Hi authorblues, I picked up this game again after not playing it for about a decade, and I'm interested in speedrunning it. I've watched your video, and I have one question. When you open a text box to type a command, it's empty. But whenever I open a text box, it's filled in with the last thing I typed. Erasing the text wastes a lot of time. How do you open an empty text box?

Thank you!

Type anything with the keyboard. There are hotkeys in the game that output pre-generated commands, such as ctrl+a for Ask about..., which author and myself use quite a bit throughout the run. In SCI0 games, which this one is, you can hit either F3 or spacebar to repeat your last given command as well.

There are a few other quirks to the game that I can expound upon if you want.

Perfect, thanks for the help!

I'm gonna be looking into the routes too for some optimizations using some SCI related tricks I know of so I'll get back to you with that as well.
