you also aren't a mod of any game. so you can't be a mod for a series.

Gotta be real here. If you were to be a series moderator, you would probably abuse your power and add a bunch of games that donā€™t follow site rules. You canā€™t have Joe Shmoes be series moderators.

Most series donā€™t need moderators for a variety of reasons.

1 - There are no new releases for a series being made. 2 - The series has a relatively low active player count (i.e. below 50 active players) 3 - The series is overall not notable enough for moderation to be put into place (I.e. web/mobile game series, series for licensed games, and so on)

I highly recommend giving this thread a read, as it explains how series moderation is handled currently very well. https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/zf7up

@2001WindowxpOfficial you should request in support hub, although it is unlikely you will be accepted. If you want to edit something about the series, but only if you are a mod of one of it's games, then make a support hub request on behalf of a game saying that it is for the series. I did this to edit the Granny series' theme
I highly recommend giving this thread a theme
I was also gonna recommend that lol

@Jubilee that was added before series moderation became strict like it is today.

Nope, not at all iirc.

I definitely remember reading a 3-games-for-a-series rule at one point.

That rule still generally applies for series that are console releases, but for web/mobile games itā€™s actually 4 games for a series iirc.

This also changes depending on if the series is just Fangames or just a collage of games made by the same developer.

this series was added to the site after the request rules got stricter, and when it was added it only had 3 games. It now has 4 games, but it still proves that you only need 3.

If the games in a series donā€™t have similar gameplay aspects, not direct sequels/prequels of each other, and only just use the same IP, then 4 games are required.
