What if I record at 30 FPS playing at 60,xx... FPS?

I install the "Fceux" emulator on my PC, and I think it run at good FPS (litle bit more than 60fps lol); The problem is that I have not a good PC, so, with my recorder, I realice about of that sometimes I have a Little bit of lag recording at 60fps; So, basicaly, if I record, for example, to 30fps, I have not the lag of the 60fps; So maybe would be better for me if I record to 30fps

The worst that can happend me is that maybe to calculate the exact frame I get into 0-2 frames more than my real time, that, by the momento, doesnt affect me so much lol (what is for me 0,03333... second lol lmao jaja xd)

So, is allowed, no? Or there can be any problema with the timing?

Prethanks :v xd

A lot of runs are recorded at 30fps. Use this if you have a way of telling how many frames your run is at 30 fps and use the frame counter, or if you have a general idea of how long your run is you can put it in/your time offset and go from there until you match up the hammer pattern! I'm not great with this site but plenty of people could explain it a little better. https://somewes.com/frame-count/

30fps is fine for runs, as caleb says. It's worth noting that you won't need to worry about frame counting unless you're playing at a pretty high level (<5:03 in any%, for example), so you shouldn't be concerned about it now anyway. Probably the only exception to this is 1-1 as fire mario which is always timed with milliseconds no matter what level you're at, so 60fps would likely be required for that.
