This seems like a dead forum but I can't ask anywhere else but here (and Steam). I've seen a lot of speedruns that deal with this specific level (https://i.imgur.com/0tOr5mU.png) having their "fly jump" being much slower than mine. Is there some specific key that I'm missing or was there an update that made it faster?

Sorry for the late response, but it seems that they may have made sideways movement in low gravity faster, I did some testing but I couldn't see much of a difference, if you gave me a clip of this level to compare to my speedrun that would be very helpful in solving this.

Hi, no worries, thanks for answering.

I went and did a recreation of your clip, trying to jump almost in the same section; you can see that I have a pretty noticeable boost. The only thing that I did is hold the forward key and then jump.

I'm not even able to hug the wall like some speedrunners do.

Ok, after looking at the clip I see that you do in fact have a faster "rising" speed.

However, it could also depend on how hard/long you held the jump button, because in low gravity, holding jump for longer will make you rise faster, and in my speedrun, I only tap jump to make it into that gap, making me rise slower, so it could be that you are holding the button down and not simply tapping it.

If you are tapping it however, then there may have indeed been a modification to the zero gravity in the game.

Aw, I'm sure I just tapped jump all this time. (Just to be sure, I did it again with the same results). This is sad, I don't think a deathless run is likely then.

The fun fact is that sometimes, if I try, the "rising" speed can lower, but it's really random. Guess I should try talking with the dev.

Thanks for your help!
