Resident Evil 7 Speedrun Rejected PS4

My PS4 only can record 60 min videos. My speed run was rejected for not having a full videos. My question how do I get round this getting my run approved?

You basically have 3 options:

Get a capture card (can be expensive) Point a camera at your TV (potentialy poor quality video) Stream directly to Twitch from the PS4 then highlight the run (this one seems like the best bet, assuming your internet connection is good)

Valhalla

I would try streaming attempts for sure.

Some leaderboards allow for runs that are super long to be cut up into several videos, but that's mostly 12 hour+ stuff.

Capture card doesn't have to be expensive, but for PS4 you probably want some HD capture thing and I'm sure a half decent one of those isn't cheap.

Thanks for relies. I wanted to try to get under two hours on first try almost on second try. Will get something up there. I will get under 2 for sure.

Livestreaming feature is better tbh. You can stream directly in twitch, then export your highlight to youtube

its only better if you have good internet. And you also need unlimited data since it can grudge your data real fast.

Is there an option to make it split the clip every 30-60 minutes?

You can save the video by pressing Share button and pressing square to save the video.

To ensure that you get the whole run you need to save the video just before starting the run, then during the run before 1h has passed save the video again. If the run goes past 2 hours, save the video once more before 1h from last save has passed and so on. Obviously save once more when the run has ended.

You can then use usb drive to transfer the videos to pc and join them with video editor. Upload to youtube and submit the run.
