Hello, I'd like to become a mod for Hammerin' Harry (NES). I was able to contact the only moderator of the game and he doesn't speedrun anymore. I'd rather not keep asking him to validate my runs as I creep the time downwards, as he's only doing it as a favor for me.
I have a background and trophies I can use to spruce the page up a bit. Also, the consoles listed are incorrect as they are all totally different games. The PSP one is actually called Hammerin' Hero...
@Pip - If you've been able to contact the moderator, then you can ask them to add you as a mod.
In case they don't know how, they go to Edit Game, down to Moderators, then New Moderator, then they can add you.
Requesting series moderator for Mario Party series - FishermanFV added me as a Mario Party series mod, but it doesn't seem to give me moderation over the games (which was the point of giving me series mod in the first place)? I'm assuming I have to get approved by a site mod to get mod on all the games. FishermanFV no longer has the time to take care of accepting or rejecting runs, which is why he wanted me to do it in his stead.
@Gundham i suggest that you try and contact Deathtome on any social media because he is active here.
@QUANTUM1 the current mod was last online A MINUTE AGO...how about you try contacting him first?

BiT Evolution is a game I recently routed and ran and I still continue to run, but the boards are completely undecorated and I have no clue how to contact the only moderator and he hasn't been on this site in a month. Please help.
In light of the thread I recently made I'd like to request being a mod for the SNES game Equinox. lagmastr has been inactive for 4 months now and I attempted to tweet him a bit over 9 hours ago with no response.

@Brapchu I'm curious how you know he still runs the game and all that? I'm not trying to call out or anything and I might be looking in the wrong places but lagmastr hasn't posted any runs at all since 2014 which is his run on sr.com at least on YouTube and you don't seem to have the person followed on twitter

I was wondering if it would be possible to have him removed from both of these links, thank you.
I would like mod for Lollipop Chainsaw... The mod is back to being M.I.A. and I have a 14 day old run waiting to be verified. I tried to get mod awhile ago, because I know he rarely comes on here and I didn't want to tweet him every time I submitted a run. Nothing ever happened with getting mod, but he was doing good and verified my runs within a few day as they came in, but then it just stopped. I tweeted at him on the 27 letting him know the run has been there for over a week and that I would greatly appreciate mod, but never heard back and he's been offline here for 27 days. http://www.speedrun.com/Lollipop_Chainsaw

Anyways now that at least a couple others consider the run suspect I will take matters into my own hands and call the run illigitimate myself and move forward to do a new run that is comparable to the current one in question. I will also make a commentated guide detailing many of my strats for this game as well as back-up strats. As such I also wish to decline my initial request of modship out of respect for the other runners.
As for the oddly worded tweet, I wanted to look over the video and see if there were issues that I wasn't aware of. Still I needed a second opinion about this run, Brapchu gave me this finally so now I can deal with the situation properly. I apologize for expecting a quick reply out of lagmastr too as well as not following the rule to tweet him asking for mod status eventhough I felt it was the wrong thing to do in this given the situation. I will be doing a new run though for sure. Thank you for the advice.
This is true but he has also not done any significant re-routing ever since he began running the game. I also felt that he's burned out with the game and felt it best to allow him time off after reaching his goal and pursue other projects such as the bionic commando series. He can always come back to this game just like how he is considering coming back to Actraiser 2 (despite how insanely godly that run is already). I also have to remind myself he is a full-time streamer now and that I have no right to dictate him to re-learn all the new stuff I've discovered but that's just me making excuses.
I will accept my punishment accordingly and work that much harder to come clean. I'm willing to do that. Consider the submitted run deleted and the run illigitmized by the runner himself. A commentated guide of my strats for this game in detail shall follow this along with a new run with a comparable time.

This person does not have a run of the game, yet I do, in fact, it seems like this person submitted their casual playthrough as a speedrun and was somehow approved.

I just don't understand why the first person to request a leaderboard gets accepted over the person who actually has a run.
@Beardy I think that the first person gets accepted is just a thing to make it easier and faster for the mods.

Beardy: If I recall the user had video of completing the game and upon examination has 73 runs on the site. The definition of "has a run" is totally subjective. I just spent upwards of 3-4 hours going through 170 game requests in the order they were submitted. I don't have time to look for duplicates of every game in the queue and determine whose run is subjectively "most speedrun-like". It was added a few hours ago, I think you can at least wait until the board is populated.

It's quite clearly somebody sniping the leaderboards.
@Beardy why not ask them for a mod spot and explain that you submitted a game request of the same game?
