Just getting into speedrunning this game and I saw some tricks in other runs I'm confused about.

How are people skipping the trader without actually pausing the game then pressing the skip trader button? Seems like there's a bind for it but I can't find it in settings.

Is reload cancelling still possible? I thought it was patched out. I saw other runs still using it. Are those runs still considered legal? Assuming that you have to play on the most current version means those runs in the past have an advantage.

For skipping trader, Options > Controls > Keybindings > Interaction, Request Skip Trader.

Can't comment on reload canceling, don't know much about it.

Reload canceling is still possible but not like it use to be, runs are done the latest patch. Skipping trader is something that was added post patch that fixed an oob that was not very useful in some maps and reload cancel that use to over load weapons.
