can we get a different category for the versions with the mandatory refreshes

i've just noticed that some version of the game dose not need to refresh after every boss level at the end of a part of the map which means time is saved by not having to refresh the page

I think I know what you're referring to, but I thought it was a glitch. If it's what I think it is, it's not as much of a time loss and I don't know how to get to a version that doesn't have it so only old runs would be in the new category (probably only Pinapple_Plays' run.) Either way, I think a category should be made because it would also prevent any other time losses or saves between the versions, but it wouldn't be very urgently needed, especially considering the game only has one moderator.

it has 2 actually, and no its not a glitch, you dont know how many times ive gotten world record, but ive had to refresh my page, we should do a cat for mandatory refreshes

United States

Either way, the refreshes aren't going to make too much of a difference right now, with personal bests being multiple minutes apart, with only four verified runners on the leaderboard.

Making separate categories for the different versions is definitely unnecessary and too confusing in my opinion, especially when you take into consideration the fact that the old version might not even be accessible any longer. All of the Cartoon Network websites use the version we are currently running on, so if there is a sketchy place somewhere on the internet that has the old version, we could simply add a rule that forces the run to be done on an official C.N. site.

Either way, there are to my knowledge no major differences between the versions with the exceptions of the forced resets and the lack of a few items. Resetting costs about 10 seconds each time it is done, and the items are mainly placed at the end of the final boss and a few bonus dungeons, meaning they're not very useful in the run as a whole. Yes, the resets are a little annoying, but it's what we have to work with. We're essentially trading 20 seconds for a much slicker and cleaner looking version of the game.

Definitely pausing the timer when refreshing shouldn't be done, as it would be inaccurate and easier if everyone did the same thing.
