It is my understanding that there wasn't good consensus on the recent changes. The current situation appears to be having multiple people restructuring things to fit their vision, so I am moving a few people to normal mod in hopes that the remaining super mods can resolve the situation. I understand the reasoning behind wanting to utilize the subcategories, however, for a board this large doing this change likely should've warranted more discussion than occurred.
The board category layouts should represent majority community opinion. Site staff has scripts to move this data around within categories if any help is needed to do that.

As far as consensus goes, there was a pretty large amount of people percentage wise that were in support of the sub categories (to my knowledge), and I support it as well. I do agree however that we should talk about it, and I'd be more than willing to (and I think I speak for almost everyone) if we can agree to avoid bickering and keep the conversation strictly professional.
To be fair, HD, Skozzy, Vark, Glitchdoctor, Bobby, Isyn, and I all agreed on keeping the boards original. Things were unorganized and confusing. We need better organization and understanding of the website to make changes like that. But now that it's reverted fully to normal, it should be held off for now to avoid constant change. We can discuss this more in the future. But we need a larger sum of runners to approve of it first.
It will generally work better if category discussion happens on the forums themselves, as people who aren't in Skype or Discord or whatever are aware of people's opinions and can participate in the discussion.
There should probably be a discussion on moderators as well, because as I understand some are inactive and/or uninterested, and there appears to be some dissent on who should be super modded vs regular modded.
I'm absolutely fine with the boards being changed to represent consensus, but it's not totally clear (or well documented on the forums for us passersby) what that consensus is right now.
If anyone needs to PM me on Twitch feel free, but I think a collective discussion on the forums is probably sufficient to reach consensus and solve any confusion.
