That's not even a speedrun! Speedrunning is the intent of completing a VIDEO GAME as fast as possible and Microsoft Word isn't a video game

Microsoft Word will most likely not be added as a speedrun, considering the game falls under two categories that are currently not considered for being added to the leaderboards. ["Generic Typing Games" and "Non-Video-Game Activities"]. If you wish to request an game, go to https://www.speedrun.com/requestgame.

Without respect to if speedrunning word processors is even viable, can we just appreciate the use of Google Docs for a Microsoft Word speedrun?

Since it is in a .docx file the run is valid

Also i think if more people try to add ms word it will be added as a game but only if a-lot of people try

@Gtbot2007 That's not how submissions work on this site: there's a list of criteria which includes the point that "Non-Video-Game Activities" are not allowed. Getting lots of people to try submitting this will only make the site moderators' lives difficult.

By all means feel free to track it by yourself, but I'm afraid most people just aren't going to take these runs seriously.

Is there any websites that do track non-games?

Ironically, the website you’re using - Google Docs. Or more specifically, Google Sheets. You can create a spreadsheet to track runs and then you can manage the runs and the LBs that way. A lot of communities used Google Sheets to manage their LBs if they didn’t have their own website back in the day. There’s no centralized website to track non-video game runs, it’s up to you to track to yourself.

I would just save your recorded attempts and upload them onto a Youtube channel to document your progress. Not worth continually submitting it here as it will always get rejected.
