Hey DC2 community :) this is a proposal for doing a speedrun for Dino Colosseum, the reason why i ask to you this mods is for calling more runners in the game, this is an example that Roxy Rose made and i got the idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yosBa592dCg

I ask her and HatsKu if they liked the idea and they're agree. In order for doing that in the same game, my suggestion is doing a changing the level leaderboards to full leaderboards in the game, with that we'll have level leaderboards free for creating this speedrun.

How will be threated the leaderboard? We won't need a timer. The timer is the same as the minigame has, and the leaderboards has to be organized in descending order

If you need some help for doing this, i offer for being a mod of the game for colaborating to increase Dino Crisis 2 speedrun community :) hope we can have a answer for both, this is for increase the possibility for doing more speedruns on the game and incentivate more people running the game.

I like the idea of doing this mode a speedrun (like RE2 or RE3 mercenaries), i think it´s important make this minigame part of the leaderboards for those who doesn´t have the time or the patience to practice an entire run :) It´s also very short and funny.

In my opinion, Dino Coloseum is just a funny mode. You can speedrun it for fun but it's not a real game.
In a lot of RE games theres is too much "fake" categories based on modes or "constraint" runs. I can't imagine a real competition on Dino Colosseum. We already add Hard mode and nobody is running (probably because that mode is not really nice to speedrun) so add a new category for a simple mode or 2-3 people... If the goal is just to have fun do it for fun, but I don't see an interest to create a leaderboard for that. 
But maybe if there 5 or more people to actively speedrun that mode it could be interresting but for the moment I don't think so.

oh, well :( at least i tried, the reason why i'm not running the game in this time is because, not gonna lie, i'm so confused with the emulator topic, well, it's just a thing that we can't decide. The reason why i'm suggesting more categories on the game is giving the opportunity for more runners, i understand your stand Hunter and i respect that. If i made you put Hard Mode was for a reason and i'm not avoiding the category, i had to reinstall all my PC 'cuz making Dino2 running on my potato PC without success (crashes at Arcade 2 section, dunno why) The category isn't nice in my opinion, but thinking on finishing the game on hard mode made people like hatsku or me happy 'cuz we suffered finishing the game in that difficulty.

5 active runners on this game, i'm still gonna work in call more participate in this game, at least i can put 4 running the game :)
