I have submitted a forum post in which I detailed a request to change the Any% rules. Instead of getting a reply, my run has been moved to "Any% Cheat". I did not use any cheats in my run, though.
Glitches are not cheats. Glitches are allowed in Any%. Instead of moving any runs that use glitches to a "glitched / cheated Any%", consider instead moving the 100% runs to a "100%" category. After all, "Any%" implies what level of the game is completed or how it is done (excluding cheating, which is not the same as using glitches) does not matter.
To me, it seems rather strange to have 100% runs in an Any% category and an Any% run in a "Any% Cheat" category. Of course, I didn't use any cheats and this is probably not disputed, but calling the category "Any% Glitched" would've been entirely obviously redundant as Any% implies glitches are allowed.
Please consider renaming the categories to reflect on what their rules mandate. Requiring 100% completion of the game is called 100%, and beating the game with any amount of completion with any number of glitches is called Any%. "Any% Glitched" is not a thing; "Any% Glitchless" is.

Alright, so you are right, this ain't a glitch in any fashion, and should be considered any% legitimately. However, this raises issues with, well, the whole leaderboard. ATM, the only boards with actual times are any% and JTB%. The thing is, I think the whole leaderboard is badly in need of an overhaul. This is what I think could be good to help clear up what is wrong in this leaderboard:
1- Remove the slingshot only subcategories, i dont even know how they came to exist to begin with. 2- AFAIK nagoku as a mod has litterally never been active as he only runs S&S1, he doesnt have a time posted in here. 3- Put me as a mod if people agree to it, i feel like im active enough in here to moderate this board 4- Rename the actual any% to 100% glitchless, since completing the game pretty much means you've done everything possible in the game in a normal playthrought 5- Remove pretty much every IL except JTB and possibly Son of stylonius, as he as far as you can go in a ''Free to play version'' of the game ( even if no one should use these) 6- If the need arises, try to standardize what version people play on, to remove discrepancies between versions of the game and minimize the odds to people abusing certain versions 7- Rename Any% cheats to any%, because thats what it is, and it feels more in line with what most communities would name such category

Ah, those remarks all make sense to me. Although IanAC was active a while ago since he verified my run, he has not responded to any of my requests on this forum (and neither to yours it seems). Perhaps I should submit another run and include a request to look at this thread inside the comments of that run?
