A few questions on the run

I have a couple of questions on the run that I'm still unclear on after the tutorial.

  1. In smuggler's hideout there's a ramp that I get pretty serious slowdown on. After watching bloodthunder's run I tried turning the side and hopping up it which worked pretty well but I notice in the top run the runner doesn't turn sideways and still gets up smoothly. Is there a strat there/trigger I don't understand?

  2. Can anyone give me a few pointers/rules on the little sisters in the proving grounds? I've got the walking backwards into the door before they open it which works pretty well but sometimes she'll stop for a bit (which I assume is me getting to far ahead) or even turn around. This happens (turning around) at one point in particular. The first watery area (in between harvest sites 2 and 3) and I haven't been able to figure out a way to not get her to do it. She crosses most of the water. Then goes back to the start. She doesn't start walking after this at least, but it's still bad. So any advice on that in particular or general rules would be great.

Thanks in advance.

The ramp is because the collision detection when you turn V-Sync off goes crazy. So jumping up the ramp is how you get up it, it just takes some practice to get up it fast. When it comes to the little sister, she tends to run back if you get too far ahead yes, but in that water section it sounds like the security bot might be hitting her. I wouldnt know for sure without seeing it though.

Ok awesome. Great to know it's not dependent on the camera. Just the jumping.

And yeah that makes sense. I played around with it a little bit and delaying when I killed the 3 splicers that come out of the water a little made it work.
