Are there any that help in getting a better time? Or there aren't any discovered yet?

There probably is but I've never encountered them, The only glitches I've encountered was getting stuck in the wall in the third zone and the game crashing when you get an ammo upgrade when your using the Seeker suit

The newer version fixed them but we are not using it because older version is bit faster if you are careful enough.

I have some theories about how to get items without a key but nothing materialized yet.

You can check the guide page I added it there. The version is content update 1. It had a oversight that made seeker to have normal key drop so we are able get more items. But game can crash or softlock when you are PB or WR pace like happened to me 5 minutes ago :D
