Hello, Not sure what happened to my other thread, when I view it I dont see any text at all monkaS
I was starting to gain interest in this game and I looked at the number_007desu run which was done on PS4 in Japanese. On both Casual and Infernal he was able to knife the hunters as Parker to kill them. If I try this on any difficulty I do not get the same results on PC.
Am I doing something wrong or is there some differences between regions/platforms? Timestamped video as a demonstration
From what i know there is no difference its minimal if there is the HP is what is different as with all enemies in the RE series every enemy has random HP some are faster to drop some can "tank" damage what i know is that the knifing of hunters is basically a headshot or critical hit which im not sure but i believe is a multiplier for damage StevenMayte would know far more than me on this subject as he runs the campaign primarily hopefully he will put his input on this subject also the Japanese is mostly faster on RE 1/2/3 due to the characters getting of screen faster not sure if that still applies now though its possible i guess hopefully this has helped you a bit
There isn't any difference in HP between versions, sometimes they just take 2 hits. Killing them with 1 hit is a critical hit, hitting them in the head will give you a greater chance of hitting crits.
another thing, you are using parkers diving outfit right? Because that "knife" is what you need to destory the hunters.
Doesn't matter if you have Biohazard Revelations or Resident Evil Revelations, they're the same game.
Ahh, that will be it. I had no idea there was differences in costumes other than cosmetics. I'll work on getting those. Thanks for your help guys :)
All of the other outfits seem to be cosmetic which is bizarre but it's capcom Kappa you're welcome you can unlock parkers diving suit very early in raid mode (i think you just beat terrigrigia 1)
there are slight differences in HP values i couldn't say for the campaign thats why i said your the best one to ask on that subject in raid mode there HP is what i call RBG Random Bull^^^^ Generator im also including loot drops especially on that meme stage OpieOP
I unlocked the 10 bonuses raid costume for parker and tried this out, results didn't change for me. Perhaps I am doing something wrong? I also noticed he's using the same costume as the default one.
It's not a huge issue as I can do this area by picking up additional ammo. But it does make it very difficult.
Idk what to tell you tbh, the diving outfit with the Axe works the way it does by default, you can't do anything wrong unless you use the wrong outfit

Tonight upon recording, it works absolutely fine. Either I was not judging the knife distance correctly or it was some weird FPS issues running at 120fps. Consider this topic closed, I get them in max 2 knives now :P
It's not FPS issues i know that much, running at 120 is optimal. Either way glad you got it to work :)
