Some of you probably have seen this if you are on the game club discord, if not, you can join by going into pretty much any smb1 streamers chat and asking for the link. But I had the idea to start a smb1 podcast and everyone agreed that it was a good idea. So, yeah :P. Thoughts?/would you join?
A podcast for smb1? At first glance that sounds cool but then you have to realize, what would you talk about? Pretty much nothing can be said that you couldn't already say in a livestream/discord chat. I dunno, maybe if you could think of interesting stuff to talk about, sure. But I don't think super mario bros. and podcasts can work well together.
I'd agree with @YourFreeChicken - there just doesn't seem like there'd be heaps to talk about, what with so many things getting covered by streamers. Plus, most speedrunning podcasts seem to be about series / communities, like Pokemon series or Zelda series, rather than just a single game.
@YourFreeChicken we have made a group chat and come up with some pretty good ideas, we're gonna do it, just give it a try and see what happens
Oh my god I think that would be a great idea ok watch Cheese05 did podcasts a little while ago for sm64, and he did multiple episodes that were an hour or 2 long, I think we could do the same kind of thing for smb1 I think there could be some seriously good discussions on many things, including things that we struggle with and that are never really discussed in these forums. If these podcasts are an hour or 2 long, there could be so much good quality information to learn from these podcasts.
speaking from the perspective of someone who really struggles with smb1 and would like to see some hour long podcasts talking about stuff like improvement.

@Lul_ecks_dee, add me on discord and I will add you to the group chat. It's LtKuchu#9340
